2011 Taste of Downtown Update

There are no words to explain the atmosphere of the annual Taste of Downtown event. I think it is easier to purchase a ticket and come on down to check out all restaurants, there are a few names like the Artisan Cafe which I can testify is very good. Ralph at Local's BBQ and Grill emailed me to say he is back. Of course one of my favorites is seeing Maury at Mo & Sluggo's Bar & Grill or stopping in at the Carson Cigar bar for the best espresso martini in town.

Advocates to End Domestic Violence does make a difference, they together with you have changed the life of so many women and children. This event and your community support is the fundamental component in stopping abuse. Thanks to all of you that purchase a ticket and continue to volunteer. Also thanks to Lisa and her outstanding crew for being the change you want to see in the world.
