Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Anthony Jess Nicholson, 18, of Gardnerville, was arrested at 1:26 a.m. Monday at Desatoya and Ladera drives on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child endangerment, misdemeanor drunken driving and driving without a valid license. Bail was set at $3,819.
• A 21-year-old Dayton man was arrested at 5:35 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $1,000.
• A 50-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 4:50 p.m. Monday in the 1400 block of North Nevada Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and a warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $3,479.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
• Vehicle burglary report in the 400 block of North Carson Street at 11:29 a.m.
• Vehicle burglary report in the 800 block of Round House Lane at 2:45 p.m.
• Report of windows broken on Chardonnay Drive for the second time in three weeks at 4:49 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
• A shed was burglarized and dirt bikes stolen on Cottonwood Lane in Fernley sometime before 12:11 p.m.
• A Silver Springs mother reported at 6:10 p.m. that her 15-year-old daughter hit her in the face.
• A Silver Springs grandmother reported at 8:51 p.m. that her 14-year-old granddaughter ran away.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:
• Report at 8:02 a.m. of a radiator stolen from a truck on Clark Station Road.
• Report at 6:21 p.m. of a wildland fire on Interstate 80 near McCarran.
• About 20 wild horses were alongside Cartwright Road at 7:09 p.m. causing a hazard, a caller reported.
