Saturday Beer Fest and Wine Walk

Knee Deep Brewery will host the March Beer Fest at the Gold Hill Hotel with Jeremy Warren, brewmaster, and "Smitty" with Sierra Wine and Spirits.

And don't forget, Saturday is the Carson Wine Walk.

St. Patrick's Day Dinner

The 14th annual Knights of Columbus St. Patrick's Day Dinner and Fundraiser is coming and I suggest you get your tickets quick. This event sells out each year, not only because of the great corned beef and cabbage but also for the big auction items, which include golf packages, dinner and show packages, fishing equipment, skiing, and much, much more. There is also a cash raffle and who can't use some cash. This event is for the whole family, so join the fun and put on your green and help raise money for some great programs.

WHAT: Live and silent auctions, catered corned beef and cabbage buffet, plus Irish stew and all the trimmings

32nd Children's Concert

The free Capital City Community Band concert will feature the combined elementary choirs from Bordewich-Bray, Fremont, Fritsch, and Seeliger Elementary Schools performing a variety of songs. The choirs will also perform patriotic music and a song from the "Sound of Music" with the band. Another featured group is the Carson High School Brass in Djibouti, a brass quintet. Sarah Irvin, a soprano, is a member of the Carson High School Choir, chamber singers. The combined elementary choirs consist of mainly fourth and fifth grade students who will simply amaze you. Come and join the band in celebrating 32 years of sharing music with our community and enjoy the music of the next generation of Carson City musicians.
