Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 34-year-old homemaker from Carson City was arrested at 8:45 a.m. Monday at Gordonia and Siskiyou drives on suspicion of contempt of court, failure to appear on a traffic citation and driving without insurance. Bail was set at $1,602.

• Amanda L. Johnson, 28, unemployed from Eureka, Calif., was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony failure to appear, possession of a prescription drug without prescription, misdemeanor driving without a license, hit and run, and possession of a dangerous weapon. Bail was set at $2,500.

• Darcy Doyle, 53, unemployed of Dayton, was arrested at 6:23 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor conspiracy to commit petty larceny. Bail was set at $1,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report of a 4-year-old child left alone in a vehicle in a retail store parking lot at 11:56 a.m.

• A Reno man reported at 1:43 p.m. that his credit card was being used illegally in Carson City by a woman.

• Report of juveniles fighting in a East William Street parking lot at 2:04 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Sutro Elementary reported at 9:22 a.m. receiving a counterfeit bill.

• Report of a student with a prohibited item in the lunchroom at Silverland Middle School in Fernley at 12:39 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 5100 block of Apache Drive at 3:54 p.m. in Stagecoach.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• A man was arrested at 1:50 p.m. on a battery charge at the Wild Horse Brothel after he was asked to leave and fought with staff.

• A man surrendered at 8:36 p.m. to the Storey County Sheriff's Office on a failure to comply warrant.
