EVENING OF CHOCOLATE AND CHEESE (AND OTHER GOODIES)

Stopped by Pioneer High School the other day to check in with Conny and found out the school is having a fundraiser. Ever since I walked on the campus years ago and introduced myself to the then principal Charles Keller, I have thought what a difference an alternative high school can do for a student who needs to graduate but has to work to help support a family, or just needs another option to earn a diploma. Charles, who died in 2005, was so inspirational to watch, never telling a student you can't but opening up every option to the "You Can Do It" attitude. I miss Charles but I am extremely proud that Pioneer High School continues to help assist students and their futures. Come enjoy some chocolate, cheese, wine and other goodies at this upcoming event and a salute to Charlie for his dream that every student deserves a chance.
