Bed Bug Fight: Gentlemen arriving from "Pizen Switch," Mason Valley, noted that that point is the hot bed of gambling. About 30 men were interested in a bed bug race. The bugs were placed on a bar-room counter where they were subjected to the rules of the American Turf Society ... $1,500 changed hands ... and there were half a dozen free fights.

Nevada Landmarks Society member Edna Henner will speak on antique lace at the Roberts House Museum. The 90-year old Henner made her living as an interior designer. She graduated from the University of California in Los Angeles and taught interior design, fashion design and illustration and the art of dress there for 26 years.
