Q: What is your favorite sport, and how did you get started playing it?

A: Baseball. I've been playing since I was 4 and never looked back.


Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete, and why?

A: Kurt Warner because he uses sports as an avenue to inspire young athletes that athletics are not the most important thing in life.


Q: What has been your most thrilling moment in sports?

A: When I was 11, we beat Fernley in the (Little League) quarterfinals. I also hit my first homer.


Q: Do you have a role model, and why is he/she a role model?

A: My dad, Mike. He has taught me everything I know to this day, things I will never forget.


Q: Is there a sport you wanted to try, but for whatever reason never did?

A: I've always wanted to try hockey, but I'm not very good on the ice. I tend to fall alot.


Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: My hobbies would have to be guitar, skateboarding, snowboarding, fishing and camping.


Q: Do you have a favorite food?

A: My favorite food would have to be sushi or my dad's spaghetti.


Q: What was the last non-academic book you read?

A: I read Fallout by Ellen Hopkins.


Q: Do you have a favorite group or musician?

A: The Hold Steady and Suicide Silence would be my favorite bands.


Q: Where do you plan to go to college after graduation, and what do you want to major in?

A: I'll go anywhere I can play baseball. I want to major in business.


Q: What is your favorite TV show?

A: Tosh O. is my favorite show. I also like Criminal Minds.


Q: Tell us something that would surprise most of your friends.

A: I have a thing for folk music. I like Woody Guthrie, Johnny Hobo, Bob Dylan and Mumford & Sons
