TOAD presents comedy 'Noises Off'
TOAD presents Michael Frayn's bawdy English comedy, "Noises Off," at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, at Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School in Gardnerville Ranchos.
In his plot for "Noises Off," Frayn plays on the concept of a play within a play - in this case a dreadful sex comedy titled "Nothing On" written by fictional playwright Robin Housemonger.
Each of the three acts of "Noises Off" contains a performance of the first act of Nothing On.
The cast is comprised of Erik Dugan, Braeden Garrett, Brynn Garrett, Brittany Griffins, Katie Koerner, Candi Legaspi, Michael Magno, Alisa Merino, and Christopher Wortman.
Directed by Rich Garrett, this production includes a little swearing, madcap humor, a lot of sexual innuendo and a young woman running around in a slip for most of the show.
Ticket are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors, and can be purchased through e-mail at toadinc@gmail.com, the website at toad.vpweb.com or at the door. Reserve tickets by calling 775-219-3577.
