SCHOOL: Carson High

YEAR: Junior

SPORT: Soccer

Q: What are your favorite sports and why?

A: Soccer. I love how creative I can be and that there is no right or wrong way to play the game. It also keeps you in fantastic shape. Snowboarding because it gives you a great rush of adrenaline and you get to be free of the world while hitting the back country.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?

A: Hope Solo because she always rises to the challenge and has conquered many obstacles in her life to become the best women's goalkeeper in the world.

Q: How do you feel about drug/alcohol testing? Should everybody on the team be tested once, or should it be random?

A: I think it's a good policy to keep us athletes in line because we do represent our school more prominently than other students at Carson. I believe the testing should remain random.

Q: What sport have you always wanted to try, but never did?

A: Tennis, but in conflicts with soccer.

Q: Do you have any hobbies, and if so what are they?

A: I play guitar. If I ever find myself with free time you can bet on me having a guitar in my hands.

Q: Do you have a favorite TV show?

A: Swamp People is pretty epic.

Q: What is your favorite food and/or meal.

A: All I need is a virgin pina colada in one hand and a panini in the other and I'm set for life.

Q: What was the last non-academic book you read?

A: I honestly couldn't tell you. I'm not an avid reader.

Q: Who is your favorite musician or group?

A: Jack Johnson is GOD

Q: What has been your most thrilling moment in sports?

A: Scoring the game-winning goal against Damonte last season to qualify for state. Hopefully this year it will change to winning state.

Q: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college and what are you looking at in terms of a major?

A: I'm still debating between Arizona State and Cal. Whatever school I choose, though, I plan on majoring in Environmental Architecture.
