Rita Frances Neill, 74, of Carson City for 15 years, passed away on November 3, 2011. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on December 31, 1936 to Floyd and Elizabeth Ann Rudicil. She raised her children in Las Vegas, Nevada where she spent 38 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Edward C. Neill Sr.; son Edward Neill Jr.; daughters Di Ann (Tom) Reiplinger, Susan Ann Christian, and Stephanie Ann (Garry) Leist; 12 grandchildren: Christie (Seth) Davis, Jason Neill, John Neill, Ginger Christian, Mary Christian, Eric Reiplinger, Allison Reiplinger, Melissa Leist, Jason (Natalie) Leist, Elizabeth Leist, Katherine Leist, and Christine Leist; 12 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Aemmathyst, Savanna, Jaycob, Ethan, Domenico, Liliane, David, Isaiah, and Anna; and her animal Charlie.
Mom will always be the best wife, mother, and grandma. And don't forget it!
There will be a private burial Tuesday at the Northern Nevada Veteran's Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada. A Celebration of Rita's Life, open to her friends, will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 6 pm at Calvary Chapel Dayton Valley. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
