To welcome readers to the Nevada Appeal's online All Access subscription plan, the newspaper is continuing to make the service free for the remainder of November.
Just go to www.nevadaappeal.com, where you'll be prompted to register for access. Once you receive a password, free access is available through the end of the trial period, Nov. 30.
Beginning Dec. 1, print subscribers can add All Access for just $1.95 per month. For those wanting web-only access, the cost is $6.95 per month. And a 24-hour day pass will be available for $1.
The nominal charge will allow the Appeal to continue providing local content online, which includes stories, photographs and video that aren't available anywhere else.
Stories dealing with issues of public safety will be offered free on the website even after the free trial period ends. In addition, one or two premium local stories will be offered free each day on nevadaappeal.com. Other staff-generated news, sports and business content will require an All Access subscription in order to read it online. National and international news, obituaries, road closures, some columnists and stories about professional sports, will be among the features that will remain free online.
To register for All Access, simply to go www.nevadaappeal.com or call 775-882-2515.
