Thelma E. Kaweski passed away November 8, 2011 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. Thelma was born on October 16, 1920, in Grand Junction, Colorado. She moved, with her family, to Carson City in 1940. She was a member of the International Chapter P.E.O. Chapter Sisterhood, Chapter X in Carson City.
Thelma was preceded in death by two husbands, Henry Hesse and Walter Kaweski; two brothers, Robert Elston and Norman Elston; and a daughter, Judith Ashurst.
She is survived by three sons, Scott Hesse (Katie) of Casper, Wyoming, Mike Hesse of Carson City, and Neal Hesse (Ingrid) of Lawton, Oklahoma, and a stepson, Walter Kaweski (Laura) of Sacramento, California; a brother, Jim, Elston (JoAnn) of Reno; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Carson City on November 14, 2011 at 11am.
