Carson High made a statement Friday night, one that the rest of the Northern 4A teams should heed.
The Senators are more than just Dylan Sawyers.
Sawyers missed Friday's 31-29 win over Douglas with a strained calf muscle suffered at the end of Wednmesday's practice.
"I tried to make a cut toward the end of practice and I felt something rip," Sawyers said after the game. "The doctor said I could miss maybe one or two weeks, but right now I'm taking it day by day."
Carson coach Blair Roman said he was unsure when Sawyers would return.
