Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:04 p.m. Sunday at Roop and Oregon streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and disobedience of a traffic control device. Bail was set at $1,124.

• James Yale Novak, 21, was arrested at 5:02 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Brown Street on a felony warrant for suspicion of fraudulent use of a credit card, possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, suspended vehicle registration and driving on a suspended license. No bail was set.

• Juanita Goetz, 32, a paralegal from Dayton, was arrested at 3:58 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Airport Road on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, not having a registration sticker on license plate, driving on a suspended license and violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $2,500.

• A 29-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 7:48 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor speeding, driving on a suspended license and second-offense drunken driving. Bail was set at $3,239.

• A 23-year-old group leader from Minden was arrested at 2:06 a.m. Monday at Proctor and Carson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,132.

• A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 10:10 p.m. in the 500 block of North Carson Street on warrants for suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving, having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle, no proof of insurance and failure to appear. No bail was set.

• A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 9:49 p.m. Friday at Walsh and Robinson streets on suspicion of misdemeanor bicycle equipment violation (no headlamp) and failure to obey a police officer. Bail was set at $474.

• A 29-year-old child-care worker from Carson City was arrested at 12:49 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of probation violation. Bail was set at $3,000.

• A 21-year-old student from Carson City was arrested at 2:56 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Washington Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct. He allegedly jumped into the bed of a pickup truck as it drove past him. He did not know the pickup owner. Bail was set at $237.

• A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 5:43 p.m. Friday in the 3000 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor battery. Bail was set at $1,132.

• Brandon Dean Saunders, 18, a machinist from Carson City, was arrested at 3:39 a.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of North College Parkway on suspicion of felony possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, driving on a suspended license and violation of suspended sentence. No bail set.

• A 34-year-old auto body worker from Carson City was arrested at 1:56 a.m. Sunday in the 4600 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor second-offense drunken driving and driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at $2,519.

• A 24-year-old window cleaner from Carson City was arrested at 1:23 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, failure to obey a traffic signal and driving without a license. Bail was set at $1,401.

• Carl Braziel, 42, of Carson City, was arrested at 12:10 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• 12:01 a.m. - Felony arrest on Highway 50 East in Stagecoach.

• 12:59 a.m. - Coroner call in the 700 block of South Street in Yerington.

• 1:45 p.m. - A man reported from Fernley that he bought a vehicle from someone, and the seller came back and took the vehicle.

• 5:16 p.m. - Felony arrest on Clearwater Parkway in Fernley following the report of a car wrecking near a bridge and the driver getting out carrying beer and walking away.

• 7:46 p.m. - A man reported he left his wallet at a Dayton casino and someone took $600 from it.
