Dino George Cotsonis passed away in Carson City surrounded by his family on September 5, 2011. He was born May 13, 1928, in Jacksonville Florida and was the oldest of three, himself, John and Nick. He is predeceased by his father, George Constantine Cotsonis, mother, Toula N. Lalousis and brother, Nick Cotsonis. Dino is survived by his wife, Nancy, three children, George, Penny and Paul, and seven grandchildren, Athena, Alexandria, Ella, Nicholas, Destiny, Dino and Demitri. He also leaves behind his brother, John, and numerous cousins and lifelong friends. After growing up in Greece, and spending his young adulthood in New York City and Washington D.C. Dino moved to Carson City with his wife and three children in 1973. Finding the areas striking beauty and similarity to the "old" country's climate and geography, Dino never looked back. Dino's outgoing and gregarious personality suited him well as a floor manager at the local Horshoe Club where he was well known and liked by all. Dino's passions included good food, fine wine, long drives, walks, spending days along the beautiful shores of Lake Tahoe and, most importantly, sharing these experiences with family and friends. He was a dedicated and loving father, infinitely patient and understanding. He will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him and will forever live in our hearts and minds. Pursuant to his wishes, a small ceremony will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11 am at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, 1281 N. Roop St., Carson City, NV.
