SEATTLE (AP) - Keith Price wore his familiar grin and danced along with the beats playing through his headphones as he departed for an evening of celebration.

Despite how it got there, a 2-0 start and six straight wins for a Washington program just three years removed from a winless season is a pretty heady start.

Price connected on his first eight passes en route to a career-high 315 yards and four touchdowns, and Washington used a blistering start to hold off Hawaii's late rally for a 40-32 win on Saturday afternoon.

Washington (2-0) jumped to a 14-0 lead in fewer than 8 minutes, led 21-0 late in the first quarter, then played counter-punch with the Warriors, who could not overcome the Huskies torrid start.

IDAHO 44, N. DAKOTA 14

MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) - Idaho quarterback Brian Reader threw for 299 yards and four touchdowns as Idaho rebounded from its season-opening loss, defeating North Dakota.

Mike Scott was the top receiver for the Vandals (1-1) with eight catches for 99 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown pass. Reader also found Armauni Johnson, Marsel Posey and Michael LaGrone for scores as Idaho rolled up 424 yards of total offense to North Dakota's 197. Idaho's defense also returned two interceptions for touchdowns.

NMSU 28, MINNESOTA 21

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - New Mexico State's 28-21 victory at Minnesota on Saturday afternoon was overshadowed by a health scare for Gophers head coach Jerry Kill, who had an apparent seizure on the sideline and was taken from the stadium by ambulance with seconds left in the game.

Andrew Manley passed for 288 yards and three touchdowns for the Aggies (1-1), who beat a Big Ten team for the first time in program history. The Gophers had the ball at the New Mexico State 25-yard line and were trying for the tying touchdown when medical personnel suddenly surrounded Kill. He was on his back, and at times his arms and legs were flapping back and forth.

After about 15 minutes, Kill was hoisted on a stretcher and rolled off the field as the crowd clapped and chanted his first name.

MarQueis Gray had another uneven performance at quarterback for the Gophers (0-2), who haven't lost their first two games to start a season since 1992, which was Jim Wacker's first year on the job.

LA. TECH 48. C.ARKANSAS 42

RUSTON, La. -- Lennon Creer ran for 177 yards on 32 carries, including the winning touchdown in overtime, as Louisiana Tech outlasted Central Arkansas.

After a 42-42 tie in regulation, Central Arkansas got the ball first, but its drive stalled and Adrien Cole blocked Eddie Camara's 39-yard field goal attempt.

When the Bulldogs (1-1) took over, Creer burst 23 yards on the first play to the Bears' 2-yard line, and he scored from the 1 two plays later.

Louisiana Tech took a 35-20 third-quarter lead on a 12-yard run by Creer, but Central Arkansas (1-1 tied it on Nathan Dick's touchdown passes of 43 yards to Dominique Croom and 56 yards to Jesse Grandy.
