Police have identified the Carson City woman wanted for questioning in connection with a hit and run accident Thursday that critically injured a 30-year-old Carson City man.
Sheriff's Detective Doug Speegle said police are trying to locate Crystal Trujillo, 26, following the 5:09 p.m. incident at Steamboat and Fairview drives Thursday afternoon.
According to police, Trujillo was allegedly arguing her boyfriend Shilo Richards, 30, as they sat in her vehicle facing east at the intersection of Truckee and Steamboat drives.
Witnesses reported Richards exited the vehicle and began walking west on Steamboat Drive on the sidewalk, when Trujillo allegedly turned her vehicle around.
She then allegedly jumped the curb, striking Richards with her vehicle, then carried his body on the hood until he slid off, according to police.
Sgt. Mike Cullen said the then drove over Richards. He was found unconscious at the scene and witnesses reported Trujillo drove away, south on Fairview Drive.
Speegle said Richards injuries are substantial. He has not regained consciousness.
Trujillo is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. She weighs about 150 pounds. Speegle said she's known to change her hair color from black to blond. Witnesses reported that the female driver of the vehicle had blond hair. Her last known address is in the 1700 block of Southridge Road in the Northridge Subdivision.
She was last seen in a 1997 tan four-door Toyota Camry with Nevada license plate 124WPW.
Anyone with information on Trujillo's whereabouts or the vehicle is asked to call 911.
