A Carson City woman is being sought by police after she allegedly ran down a man critically injuring him following a domestic dispute, an official said.
According to Carson City Sheriff's Sgt. Mike Cullen, witnesses reported the woman was in a Toyota Camry at the corner of Steamboat and Truckee drives arguing with a man when the man got out of the car to walk away.
The women then turned her car around and intentionally drove up onto the sidewalk, striking the 30-year-old Carson City man and carrying his body into the intersection of Steamboat and Fairview drives, said Cullen.
"Then she ran over him after he slipped off," he said. "He's in real critical condition with massive head trauma."
The woman then fled the scene, driving south on Fairview Drive.
The man was taken by ambulance to a Care Flight helicopter at the Carson City Airport and then flown to the trauma center in Reno.
His status was not immediately known.
