Pat Allen joins Nevada Insurance Agency

Pat Allen has been hired as producer/agent with Nevada Insurance Agency. Allen is a graduate of Carson High School and the University of Nevada, Reno. He is licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health insurance.

Allen will be working in the Carson City office of Nevada Insurance Agency.

Dutch Bros. unveiling energy drink

On Monday, Dutch Bros. Coffee will unveil Dutch Bros. Blue Rebel, a new energy drink developed by and for the Grants Pass, Ore.-based company. The 8.4-ounce cans will be available at all Dutch Bros. drive-throughs.

Comfort Care Dentistry expanding

Comfort Care Dentistry Management is moving its corporate headquarters to the Sierra. According to the Northern Nevada Development Authority, the company plans to begin operations at its Douglas County location in April 2012, with the immediate hiring of 15 to 25 positions. As CCDM continues to expand, it will add employees to its dynamic team, potentially bringing hundreds of jobs to the Minden area during the next 12 to 36 months.

Comfort Care Dentistry Management, LLC of Delaware is a dental management service organization that establishes and manages dental offices within Wal-Mart stores under the brand name Comfort Care Dentistry.

"We are excited about CCDM coming to Nevada because they meet the profile of a science-based targeted industry that NNDA has been working to bring to Douglas County and the Sierra Region," said Rob Hooper, NNDA executive director.

Chad Coons of Gilmor Coons Real Estate Group in Genoa was lead broker on the project. Coons is a member of NNDA's Regional Commercial Real Estate Committee and worked closely with CCDM representatives and NNDA to make this opportunity a reality.

Linda Burdick named to advisory board

Linda Burdick has been appointed as a member of the Northern Nevada Advisory Board for City National Bank.

Burdick currently works as secretary and treasurer for Burdick Excavating Co. of Carson City. She earned an associate degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

Pro-Dex wins motor contract

Pro-Dex of Carson City won a contract worth $27,745 to provide direct-current motors to the Defense Logistics Agency's Defense Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio.
