Concetta (Connie) Kulikowski, a resident of Carson City for the past six years, previously of Las Vegas for 36 years, passed away on March 29, 2012 at the age of 90. She was born June 11, 1921 in Manhattan, New York and married John Kulikowski in 1939.
Connie retired from Civil Service at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas where she was the Senior Seamstress for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and became any Honary Thunderbird in 1979.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gy/Sgt. John Kulikowski, USMC (Retired); parents, Carmelo and Sephana (Stella) Mattina and sister, Beatrice Chiarello.
Connie will be dearly missed by her daughters, Stella (Bing) Blood of Carson City, Lenora Gross of Covina, CA; grandchildren, Jackie Gross of Ponoma, CA, Kristen Gireth of Glendora, CA and Michelle Yup (Greg) of Reno; great grandchildren Tyler and Corey Gireth and Robert and Ashley Yup.
