We learn that Sam P. Davis, whose fertile mind and facile pen are seldom idle, has finished an original 3-act play, "a corker," in Sam's own words. The humor of the play, set with Nevada characters in the Comstock and San Francisco, comprise some three or four suicides, a fire in a mine and a half dozen made-to-order murders. Several east coast managers are endeavoring to make the play a go.
