BAC Stage Kids take on 'Pinocchio'

The BAC Stage Kids will perform Disney's "My Son Pinocchio: Geppetto's Musical Tale," an adaptation of the classic Disney film "Pinocchio."

The show will run this weekend and next at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall. The cast includes young people ages 5 to 17 who sing, dance and act their way into the hearts of children and adults alike. Unique to this production, the cast also includes classic marionettes, hand puppets and lifesize puppets.

The director is Carson City native Andie Anderson, who most recently directed "Diary of Anne Frank" for BAC Stage Kids.

Disney's My Son Pinocchio runs at 7 p.m. April 27, 28 and May 4 and 5; and at 2 p.m. April 28 and 29 and May 5 and 6 in the Performance Hall at the Brewery Arts Center, 511 W. King St. in Carson City. Tickets are $10 general admission, $8 students and seniors, and $6 BAC members.
