Obituary: Jeffrey "Jeff" Dwayne Smith

Jeffrey "Jeff" Dwayne Smith, 39, of Pioneer, CA, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Jackson, CA. Jeff was born in Carson City, NV on June 21, 1972. He graduated from Douglas High in 1989. He married Lisa Hoyle on July 26, 2003 in Minden NV. The couple moved to Amador County in 2006. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator. Jeff had a big heart, and was always there when anyone needed him. He enjoyed off road racing, loved the outdoors, camping, and writing cowboy poetry. He will be missed beyond words. Jeff is survived by his wife Lisa (his best friend); his son Anthony Smith, of Silver Springs, NV (whom he deeply loved and was his pride and joy!); parents, Fred and Carol Smith of Carson City NV; sister, Kim Atchison, of Las Vegas, NV; and grandmothers, Dorothy Jones and Iota Smith.
