Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail Tuesday. All are innocent until proved guilty.
• An 18-year-old woman and man were arrested at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and charged with misdemeanor petit larceny at the Kohl's store in Carson City.
The woman was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. They were reportedly seen by store security hiding unpaid-for items on their persons: The girl was reportedly found with $90 worth of goods and the man $148 worth. Paraphernalia used for smoking marijuana was also reportedly found in the woman's purse.
Her bail was $1,250. The man's bail was $250.
• A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and charged with two misdemeanor counts of first-offense domestic battery.
The man's mother told deputies that she was arguing with him because he took and spent money from their bank account, according to the arrest report. She alleged that he pushed her and she cut her foot on a metal bed frame and that he then started punching her. When his sister arrived, he punched her also, according to the arrest report.
His bail was $6,000.
