Drivers look to fill bus with donations

The Dayton Area School Bus Transportation Department is conducting its second annual FILL-A-BUS community food and toy drive.School bus drivers, who often see up close and personal the needs of children and their families, will be meeting again this year to ask for contributions to help fill a school bus with non-perishable food items, and new toys.The bus will be at Smith’s in Dayton 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.Last year, the drivers were able to help over 350 local Dayton families put food on the table and presents under their trees.
