Adele's rings in New Year with jazz

Make beautiful memories and ring in the New Year, Dec. 31 with an evening of fine food, libations and the jazz styling of vocalist Barbara Baxter at Caf at Adele's.The evening's menu will feature favorite entres from past years, as well as several seasonal dishes. And since New Year's at Caf at Adele's is such a popular event, reservations are recommended.“We always have a full house for our dinner seating,” said Charlie Abowd, the restaurant's chef and co-owner with his wife, Karen. “Barbara will begin singing about 9:30-ish and everyone is invited to come enjoy the music. We'll be offering light appetizers and of course the bar will be open.”There is no cost and reservations are not needed to come listen to the music. She will be accompanied by pianist/keyboardist Peter Supersano, the Abowd's favorite accompanist.“This is my third New Year's Eve at Caf at Adele's, and each year is more fun than the last,” Baxter said. “It's an event where there is joy and anticipation and love.
