Road Report

The following information applies to the period of Jan. 9-15:

Due to a project to complete a new north-south water transmission line on the east side of Carson City, Fairview Drive will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday between East Fifth Street and Butti Way. Detours will be marked.

There will be work at the following locations as a result of the freeway landscaping project. No closures are expected, but traffic control will be in effect:

• North Carson Street, in the vicinity of the freeway overpass.

• Arrowhead Drive between North Carson Street and Garnet Way.

• Northgate Lane between Jumbo Court and Dyer Court.

• Emerson Drive between Mark Way and College Parkway.

• East College Parkway, in the vicinity of the freeway overpass.

• Russell Way between Highway 50 and East Long Street.

There will be work off-street due to the installation of gateway signs at the following locations. There will not be any lane closures, but use caution.

• The north shoulder of Highway 50 between Arrowhead Drive and

Flint Road.

• The east shoulder of Highway 395 just north of Topsy Lane.

There will be minimal delays on South Sutro Terrace west of Emerson Drive due to storm system work.
