Obituary: John F. Burruel

John F. Burruel, a beloved husband, father, and papa passed away January 7, 2012. John was born June 27, 1944 in Los Angeles, California. He is survived by his mother, Alpha Burruel; brother, Dennis; his devoted wife of 41 years, Gloria; his 4 children and their spouses, John, Michelle (Bill), Marie (Aaron) and Christi (Joe); and cherished by all his 12 grandchildren, Kailey, Jordy, Jake, Elijah, Emma, Joey, Malachi, Caleb, Joyanna, Xavier, Connor, and Micah. John is also loved by his many nieces and nephews.

John loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, attending their sports and school events. John loved riding motorcycles with his wife, friends, son-in-law and grandson. John was involved in Ministry work both with Community Bible Study and with his beloved Church, Calvary Chapel in South Lake Tahoe. He loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart and has gone home to eternity.

There will be a visitation Friday, January 13, 2012 from 5-8 pm at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, 1281 North Roop St., Carson City. His funeral service will be Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 10:00 am at Hilltop Community Church, 3588 Romans Road, Carson City, Nevada.
