Hand, elbow and shoulder specialist joins Tahoe Fracture
Dr. David Eisenhauer has joined Tahoe Fracture and Orthopedic Medical Clinic. He specializes in surgery and treatment of the hand, elbow, shoulder, and microscopic/orthopedic surgery.
Eisenhauer attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma and completed his internship and residency at the Oklahoma State University Medical Center. He completed additional fellowships in surgery of the hand, shoulder, and elbow through specialized training in Florida, Germany, and New Zealand.
He treats conditions such as rotator cuff injuries, carpel tunnel syndrome, arthritis, microscopic/microvascular surgery and all other injuries of the upper extremity.

Dutch Bros. Coffee to hold Feb. 14 food drive
Dutch Bros. Coffee will hold its annual "Luv" day on Feb. 14 and solicit food drive at all of its locations, including Carson City.
Customers can drop off canned food at the drive-through shop, at 449 S. Carson St., to be donated to local food banks. The most needed items include: canned vegetables, fruits, meats, beans, and meals; boxed meals; dry goods, including beans, peas, pasta, flour, oats, rice and cereal; peanut butter; 100 percent fruit juice in cans, boxes or plastic; and cooking oil.
SBA starts online course for American Indian business owners
The federal Small Business Administration has launched a free online business course for American Indian small-business owners.
The course, Native American Small Business Primer: Strategies for Success, is designed to provide an overview of basic business principles and services offered by the SBA.
"Our ultimate goal is to help create jobs and stimulate economic and business development in our Native American communities," SBA Administrator Karen Mills said in a statement. "This course is an essential business development tool for the entrepreneur's toolbox."
The course is available from the SBA's online small-business training web page, sba.gov/content/online-courses-starting-your-business.
City National Bank donates almost $150,000 to state nonprofits
City National Bank announced that is has donated almost $150,000 to more than 100 nonprofit and community organizations in 2011.
The bank also said its in-kind and volunteer support reached record levels, with its associates donating more than 2,000 hours of volunteer service. The service included serving on nonprofit boards, reading to elementary school students, and staffing various charitable events.
It also donated more than $75,000 in computer equipment, office supplies and office space.
The nonprofits and schools it donated to statewide include the Carson City Rotary Foundation, Carson Middle School, Carson Valley Lions Club, Friends In Service Helping, the American Heart Association and American Red Cross.
