SPORT: Wrestling

Q: What is your favorite sport an why?

A: Wrestling. It's an individual sport and you take the responsibility for your owns wins and losses.

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?

A: Dan Gable. He has been extremely motivated to the sport of wrestling as well as myself.

Q: How do you feel about drug/alcohol testing at school? Should it be random or should everybody be tested?

A: I feel it's a good program and keeps athletes clean. I feel everybody should be tested once.

Q: If you saw a teammate using drugs or alcohol, what would you do? Would you talk to him about it or turn him into the coach?

A: I would talk to him about it first.

Q: What sport have you always wanted to try, but never have and why not?

A: Rodeo. My parents feel rough stock rodeo riding is too dangerous.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: I like to ski and do steer roping when I can.

Q: Do you have a favorite TV show?

A: No.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: During wrestling all food is exceptional, but I prefer ribs.

Q: What is the last non-academic book you read?

A: "The DaVinci Code."

Q: Who is your favorite band or musician?

A: Alabama.

Q: What has been your most thrilling moment in sports?

A: Beating a superior wrestler to place 8th at a major California tournament.

Q: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college, and what are you looking at in terms of a major?

A: I plan to attend UNR and then plan to go to medical school and major in veterinary medicine.
