Fourth arrest in Storey burglary case

Detectives have made a fourth arrest in the case involving the theft of numerous weapons and other items from a residence in the Virginia Highlands.

Shawn Staggs, 29, of Sun Valley, was arrested Friday by Storey County deputies and taken to the jail in Virginia City on burglary and conspiracy charges.

In addition to Staggs, Daniel Garcia, 47, and Joseph Hager and Robert Allen, 20, all of Sun Valley, have been charged in the case.

Storey County authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a fifth man, Joseph Young, 36. They have requested help from the public in locating Young, who is believed to be in the Reno-Sparks area. Contact Detective John Edwards at 328-3326 or call Secret Witness at 322-4900.
