Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are innocent until proved guilty in court.
• A 29-year-old Carson man was arrested at his Sarah Drive residence at 6:34 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $837.
• A 20-year-old Carson man was charged with violating conditions of a suspended sentence Wednesday. He was taken into custody on a warrant issued by Carson Justice Court and ordered held in lieu of $3,000 bail.
• A 61-year-old Carson woman was arrested on charges of driving under the influence Wednesday after a patrol deputy saw her vehicle parked on the sidewalk in the 400 block of North Division Street. She said she ended up on the sidewalk after she was blinded by the lights of an oncoming car. There had been no accident and she wasn't drinking at the time, but the arrest report says her vehicle was damaged, as was a truck parked nearby. The owner of the truck said the damage was new. She was arrested at 6:50 p.m. and ordered held in lieu of $1,000 bail.
• A 45-year-old woman was arrested in a field across from Slotworld at 7:58 a.m. Thursday on a contempt-of-court warrant. She was ordered held in lieu of $1,000 bail.
