The Brewery Arts Center will be celebrating its Founder's Day celebration from 2-5 p.m. Saturday.
The event will recognize and honor those who have contributed their time and talents in creating the Brewery Arts Center, including Betty Block, the center's founder.
The brewery was founded in 1976 in the old Tahoe Brewery building in the historic district of Carson City.
The event will take place in the 1864 Grand Ballroom of the BAC, 449 W. King St.
A selection of light hors d'oeuvres, and entertainment will be provided. Mayor Bob Crowell, founding member Betty Block, board vice president Jed Block and Executive Director John Shelton will make presentations.
There will also be a historical retrospective and video performance display.
