Thomas James Rettura, 51, of Carson City, passed away at Carson-Tahoe Regional Medical Center on June 5, 2012. He was born in West Covina, CA to Ambrogio and Francine Rettura on April 19, 1961. He has been a resident of Carson City for about 20 years.
Tom loved to be involved with classic cars. He was a member of the Dayton Cruisers, and could be found at Hot August Nights in Reno on a yearly basis. Tom is survived by both of his parents; his four sisters: Marguerite (Edward) Finneran of Highland, CA, Christine Rettura of Oxnard, CA, Terese Rettura of Fisherville, KY, and Jacqueline Rettura of Dayton, NV; and his three nieces: Vanessa (Joe) McParland, Heather Christine Perez, and Anastasia Sarah Finneran. Just recently, Tom's beloved dog, Lucky, passed away.
There will be a Memorial Mass in the small chapel of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church on Thursday, June 14, at 10:00 am. Arrangements are entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City.
