RENO (AP) - Nevada's football team will play its first home league game in the Mountain West Conference on Oct. 6 against Wyoming.
The Wolf Pack's first season outside the Western Athletic Conference begins Sept. 1 at the Pac 12's Cal Bears.
Athletic Director Cary Groth announced Friday they'll host non-conference foes South Florida and Northwestern State the following Saturdays before road games at Hawaii and Texas State.
The intrastate rivalry with UNLV resumes at Las Vegas on Oct. 13.Nevada hosts San Diego State Oct. 20 then travels to Air Force on Oct. 27 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
After a bye week, the Wolf Pack finish out the season against Fresno State in Reno Nov. 10, on the road against New Mexico Nov. 17 and at home against Boise State on Nov. 24.
