Obituary: Eva Dean Gunier

Eva Dean Gunier, was born on July 10, 1927 in Neosho, Missouri and went to her Heavenly home on May 2, 2012.

Eva lived in Carson City for eight years, and six of those years at the wonderful loving care of Eagle Valley Care Center. Before moving to Nevada she lived in California. She worked as a waitress and eventually owning her own restaurant. In her later years she worked as a care giver, and loved to serve others. She married James Gunier on December 7, 1943.

Eva is survived by her children, James Gunier Jr. of La Mesa, California, Barbara Sanders and Judith Peterson of Carson City and Kenneth Gunier of Fresno, California; as well as twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and eleven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Velma Burch; brother's Floyd and John Burch; sister Donna Locke and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 4pm until 8pm at Autumn Funerals & Cremations. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Carson City. Burial will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM, at Belmont Memorial Park in Fresno, CA.
