My extensive graduate degree education and 30 years-plus entrepreneurial executive experience in the American private sector qualify to manage U.S. Senate duties. Furthermore, as a Constitutional conservative who is a Republican community activist, I will steer America into a path of economic growth and prosperity.
What are the most important issues that you would address if elected?
I will work for a $1 salary, unless the economy and jobs improve in Nevada. That's why I have a "Silver Bullet" for creating jobs in Nevada. My economic plan could bring 5 million additional young adult visitors here every year, generating 30,000 new jobs bringing an additional $1 billion in budget tax revenues. My first bill in the Senate will implement the 26th amendment of the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1971, but violated in Congress in 1976. It will once against legalize 18-19-20 years old young Americans to enjoy, as adults, all aspects of the gaming industry, such going clubbing on the Las Vegas Strip or enter the mega casino resorts or work there.
I signed a no tax pledge; am against increases in the national debt; want to bring all troops home; am committed to safeguarding Social Security and Medicare; I am pro-life.
Why should voters choose you over the other candidates?
I am a Ron Paul convention delegate and fully committed to the revolution changing America back to her original freedom roots. Recently we capture the huge Republican Clark County, Nye County and Douglas County organizations. Therefore, it is logical to press on to all the voting precincts and ask for the peoples' U.S. Senate votes. Also, I have more years in the private sector executive management experience then Dean Heller or Shelley Berkley combined. (Never was on public payroll in my life.) My Republican opponent's conservative constitutional rating has dropped from 90 percent to 70 percent. I am a true blue constitutional conservative. In the U.S. Senate I will work to prevent future wars in the Middle East. Israel has her own nuclear deterrence force of 200 nuclear weapons. We don't need to sacrifice more American lives there. I want to replace the 100 year old Federal Reserve.

Explain your background and how this qualifies you for the position you are seeking:
I was raised in Carson City along with my five brothers and sisters. Growing up, I worked in my dad's transmission and engine repair shop. While working there, I also got to see firsthand how government impacted a small business - lessons I still rely on today. I raised my four children here in Nevada and am the proud father of Carson High School's next student body president.
Beginning in 1991, I was elected to serve two terms in Nevada's State Assembly and then elected to three terms as Nevada's Secretary of State. As Secretary of State, I had an opportunity to get to know all of our state's 17 counties.
In 2006, I began the first of three terms as Nevada's Second District Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives. I am now continuing the fight for a smaller, more responsible government as your United States Senator.
What are the most important issues that you would address if elected?
Government in Washington has gotten too big and too controlling. Trillions in new spending, but yet nearly 170,000 Nevadans are still unemployed. Now, a $15 trillion debt is hanging over the heads of our children and grandchildren. New regulations and more government agencies are not helping Nevadans grow their businesses.
I will continue to push for common-sense policies that make a difference here at home. First, put a stop to Washington's bailout culture. I opposed sending Nevadans' tax dollars to Wall Street and Detroit and continue to support the repeal of ObamaCare. As so many Nevadans fight foreclosure, I've introduced legislation to help families stay in foreclosed homes and protect property values. Government should close tax loopholes for oil companies and pass savings directly to consumers. Finally, we must care for our veterans, which is why I supported bipartisan legislation to help create job opportunities for veterans.
Why should voters choose you over the other candidates?
My position is clear: smaller government, reasonable regulations, lower taxes and less government spending are critical to empowering Nevada families and businesses. With these policies in place, Nevadans can build better lives for their children and grandchildren.
Right now, Washington is not doing its job. Congress has not passed a budget in three years, federal spending is out of control and big-government regulations are strangling job growth. Washington needs to fundamentally change the way it does business, which is why I will continue to push for a Balanced Budget Amendment and withholding pay from members of Congress if they don't pass a budget.
Now more than ever, Nevada needs Congress to come together to find reasonable solutions that work for our state and our country. As your Senator, I will continue to navigate a path forward to help make Washington work for the people it was elected to serve.
