Obituary: Mrs. Mae Rucksdashel Croghan

Mrs. Mae Rucksdashel Croghan, age 102 of, Boaz, Alabama, formerly of Carson City, Nevada passed away peacefully on May 22, 2012 at Golden Living in Boaz.

A family Memorial Celebration and interment will take place at a later date. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Croghan was born in Seward, Nebraska on March 7, 1910, to Gus & Emma Rucksdashel. She received her teaching degree from Peru University at the age of 48. She was a Kindergarten teacher in Tonopah, Nevada for 20 years. Mae was very involved in her church and Delta Kappa Gamma retired teacher's sorority while living in Carson City.

Mrs. Croghan is survived by her: Daughter: Sondra James of Reno, Nevada, Son: Robert (Helen) of Boaz, Alabama, Grandchildren: John (Stacey) Croghan, Michael (Gerri) Croghan and Erin (Brad) Huffman, and Great Grandchildren: Kirsten, Jake, Spencer, Caden, Colby, Gavin and Trenton.
