The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail on Wednesday or early Thursday. All are innocent until proved guilty in court.
• Nicholas Charles Davis, 18, of Carson City, was arrested about 3:20 a.m. Thursday and charged with felony statutory sex with a child under 14, lewdness with a child under 14, both felonies; gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription; and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. A 13-year-old girl told police that she had sneaked out of her house Sunday night, went to Davis' house and had sex with him. She told police that she told Davis she was 15, according to the arrest report. When confronted by police, Davis confirmed the story, according to the report. In a search of his bedroom, police reported finding heroin paraphernalia, a
used condom and a pill identified as Xanax. His bail was $48,500.
• A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and charged with destruction of property, a gross misdemeanor, and being ex-felon failing to register, a misdemeanor. Another man reported to police that the 29-year-old, whom he had never seen before, threw a large rock at his vehicle while he was driving. The 29-year-old told police that the other man had been following him around for several weeks but he denied throwing the rock. His bail was $2,650.
