Local wonders (continued from Friday): At the Prison quarry there are also other animal and bird tracks by the hundreds in the sandstone being quarried. No care is taken to preserve them. Every footprint is worth its weight in gold to the museums of the world. These stones should be preserved, advertised and tourists invited to see them as one of the relics of antedeluvian [sic] ages.

Felix Delonchant Manager of the Incline wood camp reports 50 men at work on the wood and dozen or more repairing the flume. The capacity of Incline is three hundred cords per day landed at Lake View. The narrow-gauge road to Sand Harbor will be in use the first part of June.

Carson City's Red Cross Chapter shipped articles made by the volunteer workers of Carson City, 60 pair of knitted socks, 70 bathrobes, 100 hospital shirts, 43 bed jackets. The shipment was the fourth from the chapter since it was geared to war and disaster production.

President Pete Pierini said that more than 250 youngsters aged 8 through 12 years old will take part in the Little League program this year.
