Q: What are your favorite sports and why?

A: Football and basketball because both sports teach you about homework, and you create a bond with your teammates

Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?

A: Kobe Bryant because he leads his team and never gives up on a play.

Q: How do you feel about drug/alcohol testing at the high school level? Should it be random or should everybody on a team be tested at least once during the season?

A: I agree with random drug testing. If you want to be a student-athlete you shouldn't be doing drugs.

Q: If you saw a teammate using drugs or alcohol, what would you do? Would you talk to him about it or turn him into the coach?

A: I would tell the teammate to stop what he's doing. If not, I probably tell the rest of the team to tell him to stop.

Q: The Olympics just ended. How much of the coverage did you watch and what sport did you enjoy watching the most and why?

A: I enjoyed watching swimming and Michael Phelps, and watching the USA winning most of the time was just awesome. Michael Phelps was a beast.

Q: Do you have any hobbies, and if so, what are they?

A: I like to play pick-up basketball with my friends.

Q: Do you have a favorite TV show?

A: The Office.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Sushi.

Q: If you could change one thing about your high school, what would it be?

A: Longer lunch period.

Q: What sport isn't offered at the high school level that you think should be?

A: Mixed martial arts.

Q: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college and what are you looking at in terms of a major?

A: I haven't decided yet.
