A rollover on Coombs Canyon Road sent three teenagers to the hospital at 9:30 p.m. Sunday after they were ejected from a vehicle.

All three were flown to the Renown Medical Center in Reno and the driver, John Kramer, 19, was able to walk after the accident, Sheriff Ken Furlong said.

Kramer was allegedly driving too fast down Coombs Canyon Road when he lost control of the vehicle, said investigating officer Deputy Matt Smith.

The car went into the shoulder and then Kramer overcorrected, going over the double-yellow line, Furlong said.

The car went diagonally up the hill then rolled 3-4 times, landing about 300 feet away from where it left the roadway.

A 19-year-old male passenger, who was sitting behind Kramer, was ejected at least 50 feet from the vehicle, Smith said, and suffered injuries to his head and face and back.

The front-seat passenger an 18-year-old female sustained injuries to her head and face.

None of the occupants of the vehicle were wearing seatbelts, according to the sheriff's office.

The speed limit on Coombs Canyon Road is 35 mph. The accident remains under investigation.
