The National Weather Service has issues a lake effect snow watch from Friday until Saturday morning.
The storm has caused numerous spin outs and accidents in Carson City and Washoe Valley. As of 1:15 p.m., 6 accidents were reported on I580 and Eastlake. No injuries have been reported, but traffic is moving slow.
The storm is expected to drop up to 8 inches of accumulation is possible.
