The fire department arrived with the Currys getting on the first team taking water from the hydrant near Mr. Yerington's house on Robinson Street. The Warrens arrived at nearly the same time and attached to a hydrant near Bliss' house. The fireman were blamed for allowing the flames to gain such headway...
