School: Carson High
Year: Senior
Sport: Tennis
Q: What are your favorite sports and why?
A: Tennis and hiking because I like to move my feet.
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete?
A: I don't have a favorite professional athlete because I don't like to watch sports.
Q: How do you feel about drug/alcohol testing at the high school level. Should it be random or should everybody on the team be tested at least once?
A: High school drug testing should be left random, but it should be for the whole school, not just the athletes.
Q: If you saw one of your teammates involved with drugs/alcohol use, would you talk to them first or turn them into the coach?
A: I am confident that all the girls with me on the team would never do that sort of thing. However, if I saw a friend of mine using then I would talk to her first, and if I was unable to change her ways, I would talk to my coach.
Q: The Olympics just ended. How much of the coverage did you watch, and what sports did you enjoy watching the most?
A: I watched swimming and gymnastics, all while I was at Kim Lee's eating sushi, otherwise I wouldn't have watched the Olympics. I enjoyed watching the gymnastics team win.
Q: Do you have any hobbies?
A: Hiking, backpacking and playing the guitar.
Q: Do you have a favorite TV show?
A: Greys Anatomy.
Q: Do you have a favorite food?
A: Plain yogurt flavored with honey.
Q: If you could change one thing about your school, what would it be?
A: I would change the new bathroom pass policy. Using the toilet shouldn't be such a big deal.
Q: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college, and what are you looking at in terms of a major?
A: I am planning to apply for a year of exchange right after high school, and then I plan on attending UNR. I'm looking into chemistry as a pre-med major.
