JAC changes bus routes

The Carson City Regional Transportation Commission has changed some routes to extend services in Carson City. JAC Routes 2A and 2B have extended service to the Parkway Professional Center on Goni Road and the new location of Nevada Health Centers on Research Way. Starting Monday, Routes 2A and 2B will provide service south of College Parkway for the first time, with bus stops located at the east entrance to the professional center as well as in front of the health center. This will be in addition to service north of College Parkway on Research Way, Old Hot Springs Road and Goni Road, which will remain unchanged.Route 2A will no longer directly serve the Senior Center on Beverly Drive on its return trip downtown. However, there is a bus stop on Long Street at Health and Human Services, which is adjacent to the Senior Center, and Routes 1 and 2B will continue to serve the Senior Center bus stop as always.For route and schedule information, call 775-841-7433 or go to www.ridejac.com.
