On Saturday, October 20, 2012, the "40 Days For Life" Fall 2012 campaign will

hold a "Youth For Life" rally across from the Planned Parenthood facility at 1201 North Stewart Street

from 12 noon until 2 PM. 40 Days For Life Reno-Tahoe co-coordinator Carol Marie says, "It is the

youth who face the prospect of their friends coping with an unexpected pregnancy and the decisions that

come with such a realization. Our young people need to be confirmed in their appreciation of the value

of life before they find themselves in a conversation where they don't know the right words to say to

help someone make a decision that will affect the rest of their life." Young adults from several

denominations are expected to attend.

While staffers at the Carson City Planned Parenthood do not perform surgical abortions, they do provide

chemical abortifacients such as the "morning-after pill" RU-486, which can be administered as late as 9

weeks along. Planned Parenthood is the leading provider of abortion in the United States and works to

promote the abortion agenda around the world. Members of 40 Days For Life are holding a prayerful

and peaceful vigil across from the facility on Mondays from 11 AM to 7 PM, Wednesdays from 11 AM

to 3 PM, and Thursdays from 9 AM to 5 PM (the times when it's open) through Thursday, November 1.

The Carson City campaign ends with a closing prayer rally at the same location on Saturday, November

3 at 10 AM.
