(Continued from Sunday) From a bicycling sand point "a meet" is a term intended to designate a collection of bicycles at one place, and means a tournament. This meet began in front of the Capitol steps with Yerington's bicycle throwing its hind wheel under the fore quarters of Hall's, the two wrestled for a bit and began the grapevine lock (continued on Wednesday).

The suffragists of this state are mailing letters to legislative candidates for an expression as to how they stand on the question. When a proposition to place this matter as a referendum vote comes up it is hardly likely any candidate will oppose it.

The director of the state unemployment service says agricultural workers in search of jobs that go from section to section will not have to fear getting gasoline in the event of rationing.

A fundraising drive to help with an important building expansion of the Carson-Tahoe Hospital has been announced. Outfitting the fundraising headquarters at 514 North Carson St., is complete and volunteer fundraisers are at work.

Young Volunteers of Nevada celebrates its fifth year of operation. The organization was created to promote long-term volunteerism for junior and high school students.
