Q: What are your favorite sports and why?
A: My favorite sport to play is volleyball because it was the only sport I've played that really clicked.
Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?
A: My favorite professional athlete is Kerri Walsh because she has so much heart when she plays and is a smart player.
Q: How do you feel about drug/alcohol testing at the high school level? Should it be random or should everybody on a team be tested at least once during the season?
A: It doesn't bother me that they drug test. I think it's better random because it catches people off guard.
Q: If you saw a teammate using drugs or alcohol, what would you do? Would you talk to him about it or turn him into the coach?
A: I would tell them it isn't smart, but I wouldn't turn them in.
Q: The Olympics just ended. How much of the coverage did you watch and what sport did you enjoy watching the most and why?
A: I watched a lot of the Olympics. I really liked watching the men's beach volleyball because they are amazing players.
Q: Do you have any hobbies, and if so, what are they?
A: No, I don't have time for a hobby. If I'm not playing volleyball, I'm most likely at work.
Q: Do you have a favorite TV show?
A: I rarely watch TV.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: I love pasta, especially chicken alfredo.
Q: What is the last non-academic you read?
A: I haven't read a book since English last year, unless the manual to the rental car we took to Vegas counts.
Q: If you could change one thing about your high school, what would it be?
A: The only thing I can think of right now is the elevator, it's scary to ride.
Q: What sport isn't offered at the high school level that you think should be?
A: Either men's volleyball or rugby.
Q: After graduation, where do you plan to attend college and what are you looking at in terms of a major?
A: I don't have a set plan yet, but I've wanted to go to Nebraska for a while. I want to major in biology.
