Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies say they have arrested a 20-year-old Las Vegas man on suspicion of attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed his great-grandfather.

Bradley Endsley is accused of attacking 82-year-old Robert Setsodi at his home in Topaz Ranch Estates early Monday.

Deputies say they found the suspect holding a knife inside Setsodi’s home when they responded to a report of a gunshot victim.

Instead, they said the victim then pulled into the driveway bleeding from a stab wound. He was transported by Care Flight to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, where he was undergoing surgery for his injuries.

His condition was not immediately known.

The reason for the attack remains under investigation.
